Water: Once established, fraily drought tolerant. Symptoms of excessive moisture are yellowing needles -- seen first in older growth-- and a generally unhealthy appearance.

Comments: Colorado Native. A good choice if you want a native evergreen in the San Luis Valley Bark becomes cinnamon color with age; vanilla fragrance on warm days
