Comments: Considered by some to be "One of the most promising trees for urban applications and locations of extreme pollution, such as highways and motorways." Not susceptible to pests. Thornless. Strong, sturdy trunk. Provides filtered shade. A favorite of Colorado Forester Vince Urbina.

Warnings: Elevation may be a problem in Alamosa (7600').
